Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. The cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics
(Google LLC, 1600 AmphitheatreParkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, Tel: +1 650 253 0000, Fax: +1 650 253 0001 Email: support-de@google.com)

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The purposes of data processing are the evaluation of website usage and the compilation of reports on website activities. Based on the use of the website and the internet, further related services are then to be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) as well as Google’s processing of this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: Browser Add-on for Deactivating Google Analytics.

Additionally or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our website by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. This will prevent future collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Para 1 lit a (consent) and/or (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. User data is stored for a period of 14 months.

Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

To display the content of our website correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on our website. Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible – although currently unclear whether and for what purposes – that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

SSL Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Server Log Files

The site provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • The public IP address of the respective internet breakout
  • Time of server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently review this data if concrete indications of unlawful use become known to us.

Your Rights

Regarding your data stored with us, you generally have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, revocation, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with us at office@fourtec.at or with the data protection authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42 in 1030 Vienna, Telephone: +43(0)1 52152-0, Email: dsb@dsb.gv.at.
